I started programming at the age of 16. I was originally self taught, and my first introduction into programming was with Visual Basic 6. Over the years, I have continued to program and experience a wide range of programming languages. My main passion lies in developing and playing video games. At a very young age, I was introduced to my first console, the SEGA Megadrive. Since then, I have continued to collect and enjoy many games from each console generation.
Today, I am fortunate to work in the games industry. I have worked on multiple big titles that cover a variety of genres. The best part is witnessing the release of a game alongside your team. The collective effort over a long period of time, leading to a huge ‘feel-good’ moment. My job involves meeting and working with developers from different studios around the world. Each new game project always provides a unique set of technical challenges, that need to be overcome. Finding solutions as a team, and knowledge sharing is essential for success. I have been lucky to work with some very talented people. They have helped me to improve and grow, as a developer and a person. Some of these people remain as friends to this day.
